It’s just a matter of weeks before Porsche unveils the third derivative of its recently facelifted 911 series, the 997 Targa. However, a reader of the Germancarscene website has provides us a sneak-preview of the car as he managed to snap some photos of a few undisguised 2009 Porsche 911 Targas fitted with the glass roof. -More pics after the jump

Remember the Ferrari 360 Limousine that created havoc a few months ago after the Italian supercar maker threatened to sue the British company that made it if it didn’t remove the Ferrari badges and logos (click here)? Well, that car is up for sale on eBay now by “StylishLimousines”. We’re not aware of what happened with Ferrari’s legal threats, but the 20 foot 360 Limo pictured on eBay has all its logos and badges intact. In case you’re wondering, the “Buy it Now” price on eBay is a staggering $250,000.
On a side note, as we visited “StylishLimousines” site to gather high res pics of the car, we discovered that our article on Ferrari’s threats was posted as is on the company’s site. To our surprise though, “StylishLimousines” referred a site called “dvorak” as the source. Nothing new, meaning that it’s not the first time that Carscoop’s articles have been stolen, but we did send “StylishLimousines” an email to correct the injustice. The guys over at Car Magazine videotaped their first encounter with the recently revised Porsche 911 Carrera 2 S (see wallpape gallery here). The particular test car was equipped with the German sports carmaker’s first ever double clutch semi-auto gearbox dubbed PDK. Not that it comes to a surprise to anyone aware of the dramatic shift in consumer tastes in the U.S. combined with the knowledge of what the former Big Three have to offer, but just as they did in May, Japanese carmakers took the first four positions in Autodata’s U.S. top 20 best selling vehicles list. The only difference compared to May is the order of the protagonists, as the Toyota Corolla/Matrix dethroned the Honda Civic that fell in third position, right after the Toyota Camry that took second place. Honda’s Accord managed to maintain the fourth position, followed by Ford’s F-Series that saw its sales shrink 40.5% compared to last year. Notably, Hyundai’s not so well received Sonata managed to make it in the top 10 list with an 11.9% gain over last June’s sales. -See the top 20 list after the jump

Based on the Audi A5 Coupe 3.0 TDI, the White Speed is Senner Tuning’s latest offering. The German tuner has supped up the A5 Coupe’s appearance with the addition of a full bodykit that sports carbon-fiber elements combined with new 21 inch alloy wheels. On the technical side, Senner Tuning’s engine kit boosts the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel’s output to 300Hp (from 240Hp) and torque to 610Nm allowing the A5 Coupe to reach a top speed of 280 km/h or 175 mph. Other improvements include the new suspension kit that brings the vehicle 40 millimeters closer to the road. -Pics after the jump
Representing a-no-expenses-spared tuning proposition, the Range Rover Country Pursuits Concept (CPC) made its debut today alongside the SuperSport II at the Salon Prive Luxury and Supercar Show in Inside, Overfinch dressed the Range Rover’s cabin with bespoke Nappa leather in special Light Avocado with Cordovan (Aubergine) accents and hand crafted Olive Ash veneered centre console, door accents and drinks tray. For those of you who like hunting, Overfinch also modified the Range Rover’s luggage compartment by adding a special removable gun box with Olive Ash veneered front and 3 sliding drawers which will hold a bespoke gun case, cartridges and crystal glass drinking set.
In terms of performance, Overfinch upgraded the 4.2 litre Supercharged V8 engine that now develops 470Hp (from 396Hp). Additional mods include the high performance Brembo braking system with silver Overfinch branded callipers and the enhanced on road/off suspension system.
Deliveries of the Overfinch CPC are set to begin in October with prices starting from £123,495 or $246,000 for the diesel variants and £143,950 or $287,000 for the 4.2 Supercharged V8.
