Hello Kitsch: Ferrari 360 Owner Takes 'Hello Kitty' Love to Nauseating Extremes

This is by far the most tasteless (...and blasphemous) attempt to personalize a Ferrari supercar we have ever laid on eyes on. And if you think that the 'Hello Kitty' decals and logos on the windows, mirror covers, engine-lid and license plate holder as well as the customized exhaust tips are revolting, just wait until you see what the owner of this Ferrari 360 Modena, which was spotted in Jakarta, Indonesia, did to the supercar's interior... Hit the jump and get ready to weep.

Aussie Poles Ferrari 360 Modena, Manages to Escape Unhurt...

Ferrari 360 Modena Accident AustraliaYou'd think that owning a $250,000 AUD Ferrari would at least make you a bit careful but apparently that wasn't the case with the Australian owner of this five-year old 360 Modena. Eyewitnesses reported that the driver of the Italian supercar turned the quiet streets of the Australian town of Walkerville into a racetrack before a telephone pole reminded him of his whereabouts. Surprisingly, even though the pole sliced the front end of the 360 Modena in half reaching into the cabin area, both the driver and his male passenger managed to walk away from the accident suffering only minor injuries. Talk about being lucky... -Continued

Honda NSX Based Ferrari 360 Modena Replica up for sale on eBay!

Ferrari 360 Modena Replica - Honda NSX AcuraWhy would someone go into all that hassle and spend so much money to convert a perfectly fine looking supercar like the Honda NSX (sold as the Acura NSX in the States) into a Ferrari 360 Modena replica is beyond us. To be honest, we thought that these things only happened to cars like the Toyota MR2 and the Pontiac Fiero. Between you and me, what would have really blown our minds is if it were the other way around, meaning a 360 Modena turned into an NSX replica. Now that would have been something worth talking about. But anyways. -Continued

Ferrari 360 Modena Replica - Honda NSX AcuraThe Swiss seller of the Acurrari 360 Hondena claims that no expenses were spared during the transvestation transformation of the NSX into the Modena. But it gets even better. Here's an extract from the description of the vehicle on eBay:

"For this money you could get a real Ferrari. But everyone can buy a real Ferrari. This genuine Ferrari you can buy only once, as it is the only one in the world. The gasoline consumption is less than half of Ferrari with similar performance, maintenance costs are very much cheaper than Ferrari, and this car has the reliability of Honda ... ( Rust has no chance, in contrast to Ferrari ...)"

Yep, now we're totally convinced that we should spend more than €31,100 / $41,400 -which is the latest bid on eBay as we speak- to buy a vehicle that looks no different than every Tom's, Dick's and Harry's F(i)errari replica.

Ferrari 360 Limousine for Sale on eBay

Remember the Ferrari 360 Limousine that created havoc a few months ago after the Italian supercar maker threatened to sue the British company that made it if it didn’t remove the Ferrari badges and logos (click here)? Well, that car is up for sale on eBay now by “StylishLimousines”. We’re not aware of what happened with Ferrari’s legal threats, but the 20 foot 360 Limo pictured on eBay has all its logos and badges intact. In case you’re wondering, the “Buy it Now” price on eBay is a staggering $250,000.

On a side note, as we visited “StylishLimousines” site to gather high res pics of the car, we discovered that our article on Ferrari’s threats was posted as is on the company’s site. To our surprise though, “StylishLimousines” referred a site called “dvorak” as the source. Nothing new, meaning that it’s not the first time that Carscoop’s articles have been stolen, but we did send “StylishLimousines” an email to correct the injustice. Let’s see if they respond… -More pics after the jump

Ferrari Threatens to Take Legal Actions Against 360 Modena Limo Owner

Ferrari can be pretty anal when it comes to modifying its cars or even using its badges on a vehicle other than its own. Now the Italian supercar-maker is threatening to take legal actions against the British owner of the world’s fastest limousine, a modified 360 Modena that can go up a top speed of 166mph – 267 km/h. According to reports, Dan Cawley, 36, of Cheadle, Manchester, has 14 days to remove all prancing horse badges, Ferrari names and “360 Modena” symbols from the 6m (20ft) supercar-limo.

“What kind of precedent does it set when you can’t do what you like with your own property?” asked Mr Cawley. Ferrari’s lawyers support that since Mr Cawley cut the 360 Modena in half and inserted a 3m (9.5ft) section of hand-built carbon fibre, the car is no longer a Ferrari, so he has to remove the badges and logos or else he’ll face legal action for infringing the Ferrari trademark.

Ferrari 360 Modena Takes A Wrong Turn...

Ferraris aren’t the sort of cars that one should drive light heartedly – especially if the one you’re driving isn’t actually yours. Yes that’s right, Marcel Wiggers, owner of sports car dealership “Wiggers Mastercars” in Enschede, Holland, was delivering the 360 Modena to its new owner before he parked it (literally) in a shop. According to Wiggers, he was going no faster than 50 km/h or 31 mph when he lost control of the 360 Modena due to the slippery road. We believe him, but we can’t wait to hear him say that to the owner of the car… -More images after the jump

Ferrambo: 1960 Rambler Wagon With Ferrari F360 Power!

Now, why would someone destroy a perfectly good Nash Rambler Wagon? Well, apparently to create one of the most absurd station wagons we have ever seen. “Divers Street Rods” took the bodyshell of a 1960 Rambler Wagon and a custom-made frame from Art Morrison and dropped into it the drivetrain (400 Hp 3.6-liter V8) and the suspension components from a wrecked 2002 Ferrari F360. As you can see from the pictures, the Ferrambo project isn’t finished yet but the guys at Divers Street Rods promise to have the Ferrari powered Rambler ready for the 2008 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. We’ll be waiting. -Image gallery after the jump
