While the debate on diesel-powered cars lingers on here in the States, Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new-generation 4-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 2.2-liters that develops an output of 204 HP and an impressive 500Nm or 368 lb-ft of torque.
